ESM receives nearly 10% of its income from Fundraisers. Various member churches take turns planning uplifting socials throughout the year to aid in the effort of keeping ESM running. If your church is sponsoring an event to support ESM, please contact us at the office so that we may get it on the calendar.

Event Name	Description
Annual Fundraiser Concert/Dinner	July 18,2009, Saturday at 5:00 pm at St. Matthew United Methodist Church located at 2414 Hitson Lane, Forth Worth, TX 76112.Following the concert is a dinner-bake sale at 6:00pm. A donation of $5/ticket will be collected at entrance. Everyone is invited with each ESM member Church encouraged to send representatives during the concert.
Fundraiser Concert Moved to Aug. 1	Due to unavoidable events, the Annual Gospel Night/ Dinner Fundraiser will be held on Aug. 1, Saturday same time and same place at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, instead of July 18, as previously announced.

We have four events planned for the upcoming year. Please watch this space for more information.

Annual Events:

ESM offers holiday meal assistance at the Thanksgiving and Christmas. Member churches provide bags with the items necessary to make a holiday dinner complete with dessert. Depending on the size of the families, the food will include a frozen turkey, hen or ham. Approximately 400 families are provided these meal bags on both holidays. Dates will be published above as they are set. Please contact the office if your organization would like to hold an event to aid our efforts.

Two of our most visible annual events include:

• School uniforms- ESM provides school uniform items during the summer before school starts each year. We purchase new shirts at a reduced rate and offer school-age children 2 shirts and 2 bottoms each year. We provide these items through donations throughout the year.
• School supplies- ESM provides school supplies each summer before school starts each year through donations from our church partners and others in the community.

• Thanksgiving Food_ ESM provides one sack of holiday food and onemeat item for families who are already receiving services and on file at ESM. Our partner churches donate the food, and ESM purchases the meats (hams, chickens, and turkeys).
• Christmas Food _ ESM provides one sack of holiday food and one meat item for families who are already receiving services and on file at ESM. Our partner churches donate the food, and ESM purchases the meats (hams, chickens, and turkeys).
